Fat Grafting in Edmonton

Fat grafting involves the liposuction of one's own fat, followed by the injection of the concentrated fat cells to:

  • rejuvenate the face

  • improve contour deformities from trauma or prior surgeries

  • add natural volume to breasts

Depending on the quality of the fat harvested, up to 80% of the transferred fat remains permanently, with the added benefit of removing fat from unwanted areas.

Fat grafting is a safe technique, and patients can resume most activities within one to two weeks after surgery. Bruising and swelling, usually from the donor sites, is typically the most common post-operative issue. The small incisions required to perform the procedure leave minimal to no scars.

The improvements from fat grafting can be powerful and long-lasting.
